On July 30, 2012 the Global Intellectual Property Center, a part of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, launched their IP Delivers campaign. The goal of the campaign is to educate businesses and consumers about the value of intellectual property and role of innovation in the global economy.

IP Delivers focuses on four primary areas in which IP improves economies and benefits consumers: jobs, innovation, safety and access. The campaign emphasizes the jobs created in IP-intensive industries as well as the dangers of counterfeit or pirated goods, in particular unsafe goods and malware. The campaign also aims to secure intellectual property protections and promote pro-innovation policies, such as improved protections for patents, copyrights and trademarks.

The ultimate goal of the campaign is provide online resources and information to policymakers and innovators with the hope that better information will build an environment in which IP is more protected and respected.
