CREATe’s Pamela Passman: Protecting Trade Secrets and Intellectual Property in Emerging Markets

September 19, 2012
Categories: Intellectual Property

This week, Pamela Passman, the founding President and Chief Executive Officer of CREATe.org, will speak at the 2012 Thomson Reuters Emerging Markets Investment & Compliance Forum in New York, NY.

The conference brings together industry leaders and compliance experts to discuss the challenges and risks of doing business within rapidly growing emerging and frontier market countries, responsible for more than three-quarters of the global economic growth in the last five years.

For multinational corporations, the protection of trade secrets and intellectual property becomes increasingly complex with the globalization of supply chains. In the panel discussion, Stuart D. Levi, Partner, Intellectual Property and Technology, Outsourcing, Privacy, and Media and Entertainment at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP& Affiliates, will join Passman to share insights into proactive solutions businesses can use in order to protect intellectual property and data, while remaining competitive in the global marketplace.
