News Global Workshops on Anti-Corruption and IP Protection

CREATe Vice President and anti-corruption expert Leslie Benton recently visited Europe where she was involved in a World Economic Forum Partnering Against Corruption Initiative (PACI) session in Geneva. She then travelled to Germany where she made presentations on ‘Protecting Intellectual Property and Preventing Corruption’ to a broad range of German businesses and business organizations.


CREATe COO Craig Moss will be in São Paulo in late October where he will be joining Brazilian business ethics organization ETCO to hold a workshop on ‘Best Practices and Systems for Preventing Corruption.’ The session is a follow-up to a roundtable that held with ETCO in July. He will also be meeting with companies participating in the pilot program of CREATe Leading Practices.


In early November, COO Craig Moss will be traveling to Greater China for a series of workshops with companies participating in the pilot of CREATe Leading Practices for IP Protection. He will be sharing insights from the CREATe Leading Practices Guide to Improving your IP Protection Program; and also discussing how to get involved in the pilot of CREATe Leading Practices for Anti-Corruption. He will be visiting Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Hong Kong and Taipei.


Later in November, CEO Pamela Passman will be travelling to Mexico where she will be involved in roundtable events with the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Mexico, the American Chamber (AmCham) Mexico and with companies involved in CREATe Leading Practices.

USA joined PwC in two roundtable events addressing the topic of trade secret theft. Held in DC and San Francisco, the events brought together executives, officials and other stakeholders to provide insights for a new study on the economic significance of the loss of trade secrets and IP.
